IND vs Prime Ministers XI: India's star opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was seen having a hard time facing Australia's Jack Nisbet on the second day of the warm-up match against Prime Minister's XI in Canberra. Jaiswal looked annoyed as he wanted to go all-guns-blazing against Nisbet from the beginning but mistimed the shot.

However, he was quite fortunate as a few of his shots went towards the on side as the ball went towards the slip cordon for a four. He was left stunned by a bouncer as he tried to defend it in an awkward position and that led Nisbet to utter a few words for Jaiswal. But Jaiswal too wanted to take out the Australian bowler and told him to go back to his runup and start bowling again. Jaiswal did smash a few fours in his over but was seen having a hard time facing the pacer.

After a shaky start, Jaiswal bounced back and scored 45 runs off 59 balls, where he smashed nine fours in his knock. Charlie Anderson took his wicket as he mistimed a shot and Jack Clayton, who was standing within the circle took the catch. KL Rahul, who was the other opener continued his sublime form and batted cautiously.

KL Rahul once again batted as an opener as skipper Rohit Sharma gave up his position. In his knock of 45 balls, Rahul was quite comfortable as he batted carefully and used the defensive technique. He too left all the loose deliveries that were bowled to him.

KL Rahul retired at 27 off 42 balls and let the other batters get some game time. But skipper Rohit Sharma's woeful form with the bat continued in his first match in Australia and got out after scoring just three runs by Charlie Anderson. India skittled Prime Minister XI out for 240 runs in 43.1 overs on the back of Harshit Rana's brilliant four-for in the six overs that he bowled. Sam Konstas was the highest run scorer for Prime Ministers XI as he scored 107 runs off 97 balls whereas Hanno Jacob scored a gritty knock of 61 runs off 60 balls.
