IND vs SCO ICC Under-19 World Cup Warm-Up: India's young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi has shown no signs of slowing down as he has put up yet another brilliant knock before the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026. He scored a brilliant knock of 96 runs off 50 balls against Scotland Under-19 on Saturday.

The youngster had hit nine fours and seven sixes and has maintained his sublime form lately. He stitched a partnership of 70 runs for the first wicket with skipper Ayush Mhatre and then built another partnership of 78 runs with Aaron George.

Suryavanshi smashed his fifty off just 27 balls. He fell short of a well-deserved hundred as Manu Saraswat got him out at 96.

He also recently led the team to a 3-0 series win against South Africa Under-19. He was the highest run-scorer as he had scored 206 runs at a staggering average of 68.66 and a strike rate of 187.27, which includes as many as fifty.

He ended the series by scoring 127 off 74 balls, where he had smashed nine fours and 10 sixes. The Men in Blue posted a mammoth target of 374 against Scotland on the back of significant contributions by Vihaan Malhotra (77 off 81) and Abhigyan Kundu (55 off 48).

Scotland's registered brilliant figures of 4/70 in the 10 overs that he bowled. India will lock horns with the USA in their tournament opener of the Under-19 World Cup on 15th Jan. They are put in Group A along with teams like Bangladesh, New Zealand, and the USA. The Men in Blue are one of the most successful teams of this tournament as they have won 5 trophies.
