IND U19 vs PAK U19 ICC Men's U19 World Cup 2026: India's star batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi played as an opener in the ongoing Super Six clash against arch-rivals Pakistan, where he scored 30 runs off 22 balls in Bulawayo. He did look in sublime form, where he had hit five fours and 1 six. Mohammad Sayyam took his wicket. And just one ball before his dismissal, he got two lifelines.
The incident occurred in the eighth over, where Sooryavanshi attempted to go big but couldn't connect with the ball properly as it went into the sky. Huzaifa Ahsan attempted to catch the ball but was unable to secure it.
Huzaifa, who failed to take the catch, then threw the ball towards the keeper's end as he tried to attempt a run out. Sooryavanshi did step out of the crease, but the fielder, who went towards the stumps, failed to collect the ball and aim the stumps.
The video of the fielding error committed by the Pakistani players had gone viral on social media.
