IPL 2026: Chennai Super Kings honored their three World Cup-winning players during a pre-season event at Chepauk Stadium on Sunday. Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Ayush Mhatre each received a special memento from the Chennai franchise, presented by MS Dhoni, who previously led India to three ICC titles.

CSK took to their official social media account and posted pictures along with the caption, "World champions honoured by the man himself."

Both Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube played for the Indian team that recently clinched the 2026 T20 World Cup title. The Suryakumar Yadav-led squad defeated New Zealand by 96 runs to retain their title, becoming the first team to do so in tournament history.

After sitting out the opening matches, Sanju Samson made a powerful return, guiding the Indian team to the T20 World Cup. He scored a decisive 89 in the final against New Zealand and earned Player of the Tournament for his consistent knockout performances.

Shivam Dube also played a crucial role in India's triumph, making key contributions as a middle-order batsman throughout the tournament.

Ayush Mhatre also made his mark by leading India to their sixth U19 World Cup earlier this year. He captained by example, scoring a half-century in the final against England to secure a 100-run victory in Harare.
