IPL 2026: The Royal Challengers Bengaluru look like a settled side both on the ground and off-field as well. After winning their maiden IPL title last year, they had a flying start to this year's campaign, defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in their tournament opener. The atmosphere in their dressing room is quite positive, as evidenced by one of the videos where Phil Salt was seen lauding their mentor, Dinesh Karthik. A hilarious video from RCB's training session has gone viral on social media, where star batter Virat Kohli is hilariously mimicking West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd's batting position.

Shepherd's addition has bolstered RCB's roster since last year, as he has made significant contributions with both bat and ball. One of his best performances came during their group-stage match against Chennai Super Kings last year, when he scored a brilliant 53 off 14 balls. He also dismissed Punjab Kings skipper Shreyas Iyer during the summit clash last year.

He also had a flying start this year, taking three wickets in their tournament opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

At the same time, Virat Kohli has continued his sublime form, scoring a brilliant 69 off 38 balls and helping the team win their first match.

RCB's left-arm spinner Vicky Ostwal talked about the time he had spent with Virat Kohli during their training session and how his interactions with the star batter have helped him get important details about his own game.

"I have had some good conversations with him. I used to bowl to him in the nets. After I finished my net practice, I used to go up to him and talk about things like how I bowled, the mindset I had while bowling, and the mindset he had when he was facing me. These kinds of conversations I have with him really help me a lot. He is always like, 'I know you can do this, I know you can do that.' So, you know he is always pinpoint, and he is very accurate with his decisions," he said.

The Rajat Patidar-led side will lock horns with the Chennai Super Kings during their next match later this week.
