IPL Auction 2026: All 10 teams of the IPL will try to fill in the gaps of their sides in the IPL 2026 auction, which will be held in Abu Dhabi next week. About 359 players have made it to the auction pool.
The teams had earlier picked 350 players, but later nine names were added.
These 359 players have been put into 42 sets according to their primary batters, bowlers, all-rounders, and wicketkeepers, and whether they are capped or uncapped. All the sets have been given a number, and the auction will proceed as per these numbers.

The first set will have capped batters along with high-profile players like Cameron Green, David Miller, and Prithvi Shaw. The first set of uncapped players will be the sixth set, which will have players like Atharva Taide, Abhinav Manohar, and Yash Dhull.
This mini auction won't have a separate marquee set. All the bigger players, as well, have been put into their discipline-based set as per the proper auction rules.
