KKR vs RR, IPL 2024: Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson has won the toss and opted to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2024 match at Eden Gardens on Tuesday.
For the visiting side, Jos Buttler and Ravichandran Ashwin have returned for the clash while the KKR are playing with the same team.
"We would like to bowl first. Might be better to chase on this. Very much excited to be back in Eden Gardens, there's a great vibe in the stadium. Jos and Ash are available for this game, so they are coming back," Samson said at the toss.
KKR captain Shreyas Iyer said, "Would have loved to bowl as well based on the last game, on how the ball moved around. Whenever he (Narine) comes in, he is hard to read and he's got that poker face all throughout, we want him to perform him the way he has. We are playing the same team."
Both RR and KKR have won their last matches and are leading the points table with a stellar show in the tournament so far. Rajasthan have claimed the top spot with 10 points in six matches while Kolkata are placed in second position with eight points in five games.
