Former India captain Virat Kohli is currently on the road to recovery from a hamstring injury that he got during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The hamstring injury will force him to miss the upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan, which will take place from 13 to 20 June and the BCCI announced Yashasvi Jaiswal as his replacement for the series. Soon after the reports, there were speculations that the batting superstar would also miss the upcoming three-match ODI series during India's tour of England.
