BBL 2025: Melbourne Stars Glenn Maxwell has become the second player in the history of this tournament to have hit 150 sixes. This feat was quite special as he had achieved this against the Sydney Thunder in Canberra.

The incident happened in the 11th over. Sam bowled him a full toss at the speedof 130 kmph. Maxwell stepped out of the crease and smashed the ball towards the leg side. He had hit 104m six, which went beyond the stadium.

The video of this six had gone viral on social media.

Chris Lynn is the only other batter who has smashed more sixes than Maxwell, as he has hit 220 sixes. Seven batters have smashed 100 sixes, but none hit more than 140.

Maxwell again hit another six in his knock of 39 runs and helped the team chase the target of 129.

The fans could have seen a similar performance in IPL 2026 as well. But he didn't enter his name at the auction this year.

The memories, the challenges, and the energy of India will stay with me forever. Thank you for all your support over the years. Hopefully see you soon," he concluded.
