Mahendra Singh Dhoni may be known as ‘Captain Cool’ for his calm nature on the cricket field, but a recent viral video has shown his fun side. The former India captain was seen teasing his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, with a spoonful of ice cream at the Ambani family’s Navratri Mela in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Dhoni and Sakshi attended the celebrations at Reliance Greens. The event also saw Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant and their friends come together for the festive occasion. Guests enjoyed traditional music, garba performances and carnival rides as part of the Navratri celebrations.

However, a playful moment between Dhoni and Sakshi soon caught the attention of social media users.

MS Dhoni Pulls A Fun Ice Cream Prank On Sakshi

A video shared on X showed Dhoni and Sakshi standing near what appeared to be a plant stall. Dhoni offered his wife a spoonful of ice cream, but just as she leaned forward to take a bite, he pulled the spoon away and ate it himself.

The light-hearted exchange quickly became a talking point among fans, giving them a glimpse of the couple’s playful side away from the cricket field.

Will MS Dhoni Play In IPL 2027?

Dhoni is still making news off the field, but his future in the Indian Premier League (IPL) is still uncertain.

The former India captain retired from international cricket in August 2020 but has kept playing in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He captained led the franchise to five IPL titles which is the joint most in history of the tournament.

Dhoni missed the entire IPL 2026 season due to injuries. He initially suffered a calf strain during the pre-season camp, which returned during his recovery. A subsequent thumb injury also affected his availability.
