LSG vs GT IPL 2026: Ex-West Indies wicket-keeper batter Nicholas Pooran has become the highest run-scorer for Lucknow Super Giants this season. Pooran was retained by the franchise for Rs 21 crore before the IPL 2025 mega auction. He needed just eight runs during their IPL 2026 match against the Gujarat Titans on Sunday to break KL Rahul's record of 1410 runs. He achieved this feat in the 14th over, bowled by Rashid Khan.

He scored six runs and smashed a six on the second ball of Rashid Khan's over.

Pooran is currently in his 47th match for the Lucknow-based franchise. He had smashed 10 fifties so far, and his highest individual score was 87.
