India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been at the centre of transfer rumours ever since the end of IPL 2026. The speculation started after Mumbai Indians endured a disappointing campaign, finishing ninth on the points table with just four wins from 14 matches.
Soon after the season, fans began linking Hardik with several franchises. One of the biggest talking points was an Instagram Story in which his phone displayed the time “07:07”. Many fans connected the number seven with former India and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni, leading to rumours that Hardik could be heading to CSK. However, neither the player nor the franchise has commented on those claims.
The rumours gained momentum when Hardik was seen wearing a pink-themed outfit in a social media post. Since pink is closely associated with the Rajasthan Royals, many fans believed it could be a hint about his next destination. Despite the online buzz, there has been no official statement from Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals or Chennai Super Kings regarding any possible move.

With KKR expected to appoint a new captain, some reports and fan discussions have suggested Hardik as a potential option. However, there has been no confirmation from either Mumbai Indians or Kolkata Knight Riders.
