India added another shooting medal to its Asian Games tally as Anant Jeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal won bronze in the mixed team skeet event on Thursday.

The Indian pair finished third in the final with a score of 44.

Naruka and Parinaaz stayed consistent throughout the final. They started with a score of seven in the opening series and gradually moved to 14, 21, 29, 36 and 44 across the six series.

The duo had booked their place in the final after finishing fourth in the qualification round. They scored 138 in total to take the final available spot.

The bronze medal took India’s shooting tally at the ongoing Asian Games to eight medals, including four silver and four bronze.

India had also won two bronze medals in skeet shooting on Wednesday, with the men’s and women’s teams finishing third at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery.
