RR vs SRH IPL 2026 Eliminator: Pat Cummins seized the toss and elected to bowl first during the IPL 2026 Eliminator clash against Rajasthan Royals, where RR captain Riyan Parag dropped a huge fitness update at the toss. Parag admitted he hasn’t been fully fit for the high-octane match, but he insisted to the team management that they must fight to win.

"We also would have bowled first, as it's a good chasing ground, as we have chased and defended. I am unfit to play. Even now, we have no choice but to win. I am happy with the team's performance if we play to our potential. Today, despite pain, I stand with my team because this match means everything. Jaddu comes back in the playing XI, Dubey is the impact player," Parag was heard as saying at the toss.

SRH skipper Pat Cummins revealed they aren't too worried about the pressure, as they come into this match having defeated the same opponent twice in the group stage.

"We will bowl first. I think we have played some good cricket of late. We will try to keep our bowling simple and let them play to their strengths. Hinge comes back in. I think we are not bothered about the pressure, it's a good chasing ground", Cummins was heard as saying at the time of the toss.

The match unfolds at the PCA New International Stadium, as everything hangs in the balance: the winner advances to the 2nd qualifier. At the same time, the losing team exits the race to the final.

The campaigns of both these teams have mirrored each other’s drama and adversity this year.
