RCB-W vs UP-W Updates: UP Warriorz are staring down the barrel as they face Royal Challengers Bengaluru for a must-win match in the Women's Premier League here at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on Thursday. Royal Challengers Bengaluru have already qualified for a playoff spot as they occupy the top of the points table.

As far as head-to-head records are concerned, RCB-W, under Smriti Mandhana, have played seven games against UP Warriorz and won four. On the other hand, UP have won twice, with one match yielding no result.

RCB-W to bowl first

Smriti Mandhana won the toss and asked UP Warriorz to bat first in this fixture. Mandhana informed about one change in the XI - Pooja Vastrakar comes in place of Gautami Naik.

"We will field first today. Good wicket to bat on, already played against Mumbai Indians, need to bowl in good areas. One thing I've mentioned is to think tactically, not emotionally. We'[ve done a lot of things right to win the first 5, just keep things simple, someone else might play better cricket, just keep it simple. One change - Pooja Vastrakar comes back in place of Gautami Naik, she had a one-year off, looking forward to her comeback," Mandhana said at the toss.

UP Warriorz went for two changes in the XI - Simran Shaikh and Amy Jones come in.

Meg Lanning -We need to win every game we play, so nothing to lose as far as we're concerned. It was a nice break, we focused on things that we need to get better a, places where we can improve and we're happy to come into the XI. Couple of changes - Amy Jones comes in place of Litchfield, Simran is in place of Navgire. A new opening partner for me.
