SA vs NZ Highlights ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Semifinal: David Miller's Ton In Vain As New Zealand Set Up Final With India

Michael Bracewell ends his spell with a wicket of Wiaan Mulder, who hands a simple catch down the throat of deep square leg.

Mitchell Santner picked his third as he sent packing well-set batters Heinrich Klaasen, Rassie van der Dussen and Temba Bavuma.

Mitchell Santner won the battle between the captains as he removed Temba Bavuma for 56.

South African captain Temba Bavuma reached a milestone in Lahore, bringing up his half-century off 64 deliveries.

Matt Henry strikes first in the chase with Ryan Rickelton caught at cover for 17!

New Zealand demonstrated their prowess with the willow as they made a mammoth 362 runs.

Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra stole the show with their century knocks, while Daryll Mitchell and Glenn Phillips played crucial supporting roles, scoring 49 runs apiece, as New Zealand amassed a towering total.

Back to back wickets have somewhat brought South Africa into the match. Kane Williamson and Tom Latham are back in the hut now with more than 50 deliveries left in the innings.

Rachin Ravindra falls after a brilliant knock. He falls to Kagiso Rabada as he nicked one to Heinrich Klaasen. Will South Africa be able to restrict New Zealand below 330?

Wicket! There's the first wicket and the partnership has been broken. It's Rabada who sends back Young for 21 as Markram made no mistake with the catch.

New Zealand Live Score: 48/1 (8)

Both Ravindra and Young have looked in good touch so far the scoreboard is running at the moment at some rate here in Lahore. 14 runs came off that over from Jansen.

New Zealand Live Score: 44/0 (7)

The action has started and New Zealand already have 6 runs on the board with one boundary as well in the first two overs.

"We are not too concerned but the preference would have been to bat, our bowlers need to bowl well and then our batters need to do the job. Just one change, I'm feeling much better. We have had learnings from semi-finals and finals. We need to win the key moments. We are doing a lot of work, lots of confidence, it's another game for us irrespective of it being the semi-final," said the South African skipper.

"We are gonna have a bat first, looks like a good wicket, looks a bit dry. Privileged to captain my country and for us it's to play good cricket. We have the same team. The last game was foreign conditions, we have played a few games here in the tri-series. Will try to play good cricket and put pressure on them," said the New Zealand skipper.
