Rajasthan Royals batting prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has revealed that scoring 700 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 was a goal he had set for himself even before the season began. The 15-year-old achieved that target and much more during a record-breaking campaign that saw him dominate the tournament and win several individual awards.
Although Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) retained the IPL title by defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) by five wickets in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Sooryavanshi was one of the biggest talking points of the season. The young batter finished the tournament with five major awards to his name.
