Why Virat Kohli Is Not Playing Today's Vijay Hazare Trophy Match For Delhi?

Virat was supposed to play only the first two matches of the tournament that kicked off on December 24. The senior batter featured in Delhi's win over Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, in which he made 131 and 77 runs respectively. This was the first time that Kohli played the tournament after 15 years. During his outstanding stay at the crease, he also went past 16,000 runs in List A cricket.

Virat carried the fire forward on December 26 versus Gujarat at the same ground, blasting 77 off 61 deliveries.

Will Virat Kohli play again for Delhi?

Virat Kohli will now be gearing up for India's upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand, which kicks off on January 11. However, despite the tight schedule, Kohli might turn up for Delhi once again in the ongoing VHT for their match against Railways on January 6.

However, Rohit will not play games anymore in the tournament, as per the Cricbuzz report.
