WPL 2026 Final: On the night of the WPL 2026 final, Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and elected to bowl first against Delhi Capitals Women here at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. Smriti Mandhana, captain of RCB-W, informed of retaining the same XI from their previous encounter.

Smriti Mandhana at the toss:"We'd like to field first today. Of course, it's been a trend in the tournament, but having said that, on a good wicket, it's always good to know what you're going to chase. We're playing with the same XI that we played in the last match. (On the break and playing the final) It's been brilliant, I feel. First 2-3 days, we all had a good time off. We didn't think a lot about cricket. And of course, in the last two or three days, we came back together, practised hard."

Jemimah Rodrigues, captain of the Delhi Capitals Women, expressed content at the team's preparations. "Firstly, in such big games, it's better to lose the toss. Because sometimes it always works out for good. So we would have also bowled first, but we're happy with what came. We're going with the same team. (Preparation for the final) I think I just kept it very simple. Didn't try to overthink it too much. Kept it simple, kept our plan simple. One good thing is playing the Eliminator; we're playing on the same pitch again. So we know what it's going to look like. And yeah, we're ready for today," Rodrigues said.

Vadodara Pitch Report: As per the official broadcaster, the pitch is the same as it was in the Eliminator. One side - 54m, the other 58m, straight hit is 66m, but honestly, boundaries are your friends, batters. The broadcaster also suggested that more boundaries than sixes could be key on the track.

There is some hint of movement for the bowlers if they pitch it in the right area.
