WPL 2026 Points Table And Playoffs Qualification Scenarios: Royal Challengers Bengaluru became the first team to reach the final of the ongoing Women's Premier League 2026 as they defeated the UP Warriorz by 8 wickets at the BCA Stadium in Kotambi on Thursday. RCB produced another dominating performance and returned to winning ways to maintain their grip at the top of the WPL standings.

Having finished their league stage campaign on a high, RCB have six wins and 12 points after eight games. Interestingly, no other team can match their points tally, but they are in the hunt to reach the playoffs, with just two games remaining in the league phase. Mumbai Indians (MI) will face Gujarat Giants (GG) on Friday (January 30), while UP Warriorz and Delhi Capitals (DC) will go head-to-head on Sunday (February 1).

Notably, the second and third-placed teams will play the eliminator, and the winner of that match will face RCB in the final. Talking about the match 18, the UP Warriorz were restricted to 143/8 in their 20 overs after being put into bat first. Deepti Sharma was the top run-getter for the Warriorz with an impressive fifty. She scored 55 runs in 43 balls on the back of six fours and a six, whereas Meg Lanning produced a crucial contribution of 41 runs off 30 deliveries. For RCB, Nadine de Klerk continued his outstanding form and picked up four wickets for just 22 runs in her four overs.

RCB easily chased down the target in 13.1 overs, with skipper Smriti Mandhana (54) and Grace Harris (75) smashing half-centuries. This was UP's fifth win of the season as they remained last with just two wins under their belt after seven games.

WPL 2026 Qualification Scenarios

Gujarat Giants- If GG beats MI in their final WPL 2026 match, they will qualify. If GG lose to MI, they will need to hope for UPW to beat DC.

Mumbai Indians - If MI beats GG, they will qualify. If they lose, they need to hope that DC lose to UPW but not by a big margin.

Delhi Capitals - DC will qualify if they beat UPW regardless of the result of the MI-GG match. If they lose, they will crash out.

UP Warriorz - UP Warriorz need to defeat DC by a huge margin and hope their NRR can overtake their opponents.
