A case has come to light in the Chandhat police station area of Palwal where a young woman was allegedly raped for the last three years on the pretext of marriage. The police have registered a case based on the victim's complaint and have begun an investigation. The victim, a resident of a village under the jurisdiction of Chandhat police station, stated in her complaint to the police that three years ago, Zakir, a resident of Mahindpur Khadar village in Uttar Pradesh, began visiting her home.
Accused Trapped Victim In Relationship
The accused took the victim's mobile number and started talking to her. The victim alleges that Zakir trapped her in a love affair on the pretext of marriage. The accused allegedly raped her continuously for the last three years in a small room built in the fields. Whenever the woman put pressure on him to marry, he would make excuses.

Threats To Kill And Police Action
According to the complaint, when the victim asked about marriage for the final time, the accused flatly refused. When she protested, the accused threatened that he would kill her if she told anyone about it. Following this, the victim filed her written complaint with the police on 8 January.
