Why Were AIBE 21 Qualifying Marks Reduced?
The qualifying marks were originally set at 45 for General category candidates and 40 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. However, BCI's Monitoring Committee reviewed the question paper and overall candidate performance, and unanimously decided to moderate the cut-off downward by three marks, bringing it to 42 and 37, respectively.
This move directly benefited borderline candidates who had fallen just short of the original threshold.
