This year, the total pass percentage is recorded at 93.70 percent.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the results for the Class 10 board examinations today. While an official confirmation from the central board is awaited, 

The CBSE Class 10 MP board examinations for the 2026 academic session were conducted from Feb 17 to March 11 in a single shift, from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. Around 25 lakh students are estimated to have appeared for the exams this year.

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the Class 10 results today. This year, about 25,08,319 students appeared for the exam, including 14,08,546 boys and 10,99,773 girls, across 83 subjects and 8,075 centres.

Grace marks in CBSE 10th are offered to those students who fall short by one or two marks. This is done to achieve the minimum marks to pass the exam. Candidates must secure a minimum of 33 per cent overall.

Although the class 10th exams concluded earlier this year on March 11, 2026, the results have not been declared so far. The board follows a structured process that includes evaluation, moderation, and verification, which must be completed before results are published.

The UMANG app offers another convenient way to check results, where students can log in using their credentials and view their scorecards without relying solely on a web browser.

Students must keep their roll number, school number, admit card ID, DOB, and security pin ready before the result goes live.

When a student has obtained 33 per cent marks, they are deemed ‘passed’ in CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2026. If any student is not able to achieve 33 per cent marks and miss out by 01 marks or so, decision may be taken to award the grace marks.

Accordingly, students can expect the results for the first session by the end of April, which will help the Board accommodate the exam dates for the second session to be conducted in May.

Under the scheme notified last June, it is mandatory for Class 10 students to appear for the first-phase examinations, scheduled to be held between February 17 and March 6, 2026. The second phase, scheduled from May 5 to May 20, is optional and offers students the opportunity to improve their scores in up to three subjects.
