CBSE 12th Supplementary 2026 Exam Dates Out:  Post result declaration today, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam dates for the CBSE compartment exams 2026. The CBSE supplementary exam 2026 will be held on a single day on June 15, 2026. This year, a total of 1,63,800 students (9.26%) have been placed under the compartment category. Overall pass rate stood at 85.20%, which is slightly lower than the previous year, which recorded  88.39%.

CBSE 12th Supplementary 2026 Exam: Who's Eligible?

Candidates under the following categories will be eligible for the CBSE supplementary exams.

1. Students who passed in Class 12 in 2026 but want to improve their marks can sit for the supplementary exams.

2. Those who appeared in Class 12th Board Exams 2026 and have been placed under the “compartment” category.

3. Those who have appeared in the Class 12th exam in 2025 but were placed in the compartment category. For such students, this is the last opportunity to improve their marks. CBSE allows only 3 chances to clear a compartment.

CBSE LOC Submission 2026 Starts On June 2

The online LOC (List of Candidates) submission will commence on June 2, 2026. Students who want to improve their marks or those in the compartment category must submit the admission form online before the deadline. Once the form is submitted, no further changes, no changes like adding or removing names or subjects, will be allowed.
