The CBSE has asked students to abide by the mandatory eligibility criteria for necessary for appearing in the Board exams, scheduled from Feb 17, 2026. Students appearing for the Class 10 and 12 Board Exams from Feb 17 must be aware of the prohibited items in the exam centres. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, headsets, bluetooths, etc are strictly prohibited inside the examination centre. Candidates must note that no books, notebooks or pages are allowed inside the hall. Those who are found carrying such items inside the exam hall will be reprimanded. 

As per the official exam schedule, the CBSE class 10 exam will start from February 17 and will continue till March 11, 2026. Instead, school authorities will log in with their credentials on the Pariksha Sangam portal and download the admit cards for their respective students. 

After downloading the hall ticket, the school authorities have to stamp and sign it before distributing it to students. Students must note that admit cards are mandatory for the board exams.
