CBSE CTET 2026 Exam Update: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has allowed candidates who appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 examination to obtain copies of their OMR sheets and calculation sheets. The move will help candidates review their answer evaluation and understand how their marks were calculated in the exam.
According to the official notification issued by CBSE, candidates who wish to access these documents must submit a formal application along with a fee of Rs 500. The board has set May 1, 2026, as the final date for submitting requests. After the deadline, no further applications for calculation sheets or OMR copies will be accepted.
CTET 2026: Documents Available On Request
CBSE stated that the facility is being provided so that candidates can verify their evaluation process. By accessing the calculation sheet and OMR copy, candidates will be able to cross-check how their responses were assessed in the examination.
The board also clarified that the documents will be dispatched to candidates through speed post once the request is processed. However, candidates must ensure that their applications contain correct details such as roll number, name, and address to avoid delays or rejection.
Another important clarification issued by CBSE concerns candidates who had previously applied for these documents through the RTI Act. Such candidates will need to apply again through the prescribed procedure if they want to obtain the calculation sheet or OMR copy now.
CTET 2026: Steps To Apply For OMR And Calculation Sheets
Candidates must follow the official procedure mentioned in the notification to request the documents:
Step 1: Write a formal application addressed to the Director, CTET.
Step 2: Include personal details such as roll number, name, and address clearly in the application.
Step 3: Attach a bank draft of Rs 500 drawn in favour of “Secretary, CBSE,” payable at Delhi.
Step 4: Write the roll number and name on the backside of the bank draft.
Step 5: Send the application by speed post or submit it by hand to the CTET Unit, CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Dwarka, New Delhi.
CBSE has also emphasised that the OMR and calculation sheets are meant only for the personal reference of candidates. They cannot be used for publication, display, or commercial purposes.
