CUET PG Exam 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate Exam 2026 from March 6 to 27, 2026, in three shifts. More than 4 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam this year.
CUET PG is a national-level entrance exam for admission to PG courses across prestigious government colleges. Each shift will last 90 minutes. The paper will have multiple-choice questions across sections. Those appearing for the exam must carry their CUET PG admit card and any one photo ID card.
CUET PG Exam 2026: Shift Timings
CUET PG will be conducted in three shifts each day. The shift timings will be mentioned on the admit card. Candidates have to check their slot and appear accordingly. Check out the shift timings in the following table.

CUET PG Exam 2026: Mandatory Documents
Candidates appearing for the CUET PG exam today must have the following documents for verification. Without them, entry will not be granted into the examination hall.
Printed CUET PG 2026 admit card
Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card or passport)
Passport-size photograph
PwD certificate (if applicable)
CUET PG Exam 2026: Dress Code For Male and Female Candidates
For the exam, candidates must wear comfortable and simple clothes without any accessories.
For male and female candidates, preferred dress codes are as follows.
Male Candidates
1. Can wear plain shirts or t-shirts without any caps or mufflers.
2. For footwear, wear open sandals instead of closed shoes.
3. Sikh candidates can wear turbans instead of caps.
4. Avoid metallic objects like jewellery, rings and belts
Female Candidates
1. Wear simple clothes like kurtas, tops and trousers.
2. Avoid belts or clothing with metallic buttons.
3. Do not wear any metal jewellery, rings, bracelets, necklaces, or heavy earrings.
4. Wear open sandals and flip flops.
CUET PG Exam 2026: Gate Closing Time
Candidates must be vigilant about the gate closing time for the CUET PF exam 2026. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the examination hall, so reach the centre at least 20 to 30 minutes before the reporting time.
