The new date for the announcement of the GATE 2026 hall ticket will be out soon. The candidates are advised to closely monitor the official website of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Guwahati).
According to the latest notification, the IIT Guwahati has not specified any particular reason for postponement. It just reads that the revised admit card release date will be announced later.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2026) will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Guwahati) on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026 in offline mode. The authorities have already announced subject-wise exam dates with shift timings.

Step 1: Students must visit the GOAPS login portal; gate2026.iitg.ac.in to download hall tickets.
Step 2: There will be a link for the GATE Admit Card 2026 available on the homepage.
Step 3: A new page will open on the screen where you have to enter your login credentials in the designated field.
Step 4. Submit your credentials and your GATE 2026 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5. Check all the details carefully and download the hall ticket for exam day and future reference.
