Gujarat School Holiday 2025: Schools in Ahmedabad received bomb threats via email on Wednesday, prompting an immediate police response. According to the Joint Police Commissioner, police are on the scene to ensure public safety.

Police said that about 10 private schools in Ahmedabad received an email on Wednesday (November 17, 2025) threatening bomb blasts, but the threat later turned out to be false as nothing suspicious was found during the search.

According to a statement, the three schools received an email on Wednesday that read, "We will take revenge." Due to the threatening nature of the message, the schools reported the matter to the police, who took immediate action.

Ahmedabad Schools Receive Threat Emails, Probe On:

Ahmedabad Crime Branch Joint Police Commissioner Sharad Singhal said, "Police teams are present at the concerned schools." The schools that received the emails were Maharaja Agrasen School, Zydus School for Excellence, and Zebra School.

According to sources, police officials suspect that Khalistan-linked individuals are behind these emails, raising concerns about the security of the schools.

As police and bomb disposal squads began inspecting the schools, parents were notified to pick up their children. This notice was shared by a parent of a student at one of the schools.
