HPBOSE Compartment Exam 2026: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially started the registration process for Class 10 and Class 12 compartment and improvement examinations 2026. Eligible students can submit their application forms through the official website, hpbose.org. The board is expected to conduct the supplementary examinations during June and July 2026.
According to the official notification, candidates can complete the registration process without paying any late fee till June 1, 2026. However, students who miss the deadline can still apply by paying a late fee of Rs 1000 till June 5, 2026. The compartment examination is conducted for students who failed in one or more subjects in the annual examination, while improvement exams are meant for students who wish to improve their marks.
HPBOSE Class 10 Compartment & Improvement Exam 2026:
For matric students, the compartment and essential improvement examination fee is Rs 700 per subject. Candidates applying for optional improvement in one to three compulsory subjects will have to pay Rs 950. The fee for appearing in one additional subject is Rs 700.
Students can submit applications without a late fee till June 1, while applications with a Rs 1000 late fee will be accepted till June 5, 2026.

HPBOSE Class 12 Compartment & Improvement Exam 2026
For senior secondary students, the compartment and English-only examination fee has been fixed at Rs 700. Candidates applying for improvement of performance in one or more subjects will have to pay Rs 1150. Diploma holder re-appear candidates and students applying for one additional subject will also need to pay Rs 700.
The same registration deadlines apply for Class 12 students as well.
