The Indian Air Force (IAF) has commenced the registration process for young individuals aspiring to join the force under the Agnipath scheme. This recruitment drive offers unmarried Indian men and women the opportunity to serve the nation and pursue a career in the Air Force for a fixed tenure.

The IAF has initiated the application process for the Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath scheme. The Air Force is inviting applications from eligible unmarried Indian men and women for Agniveervayu positions.

Candidates selected through this recruitment process will have the opportunity to serve in the Air Force for four years. The online written examination will be conducted on March 30 and 31, 2026. Candidates are advised to visit the official IAF recruitment website and complete their applications before the deadline.

The online application process began on January 12, 2026, and will close at 11:00 PM on February 1, 2026. The application fee is Rs550 plus 18% GST, which is non-refundable.

Step 1: Visit iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in and register using a valid email ID and mobile number. Verify the OTP sent to both.

Step 2: Log in using the user ID and password generated after registration.

Step 3: Fill in the required personal details and educational information carefully.

Step 4: Upload the required documents, photograph, signature, and thumb impression in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Pay the application fee online and submit the application form.
