Agniveervayu 2026 Selection Process:

The Indian Air Force Agniveer Selection Process 2026 comprises multiple phases to assess candidates' aptitude, fitness, and eligibility for the role. Each phase is crucial to advancing in the recruitment process.

Phase 1 - Online Test:

Candidates will be required to demonstrate proficiency in both science and non-science subjects. Non-science subjects will include Reasoning, English, and General Awareness. Science subjects will include Physics and Mathematics.

Phase 2 - Document Verification, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and Adaptability Test:

Candidates who qualify in Phase 1 will undergo document verification to confirm their eligibility. Steps to Apply for IAF Agniveervayu intake 01/2027

Follow these steps carefully to ensure a successful application:

Step 1: Visit the official Agnipath Vayu portal or the IAF Recruitment portal and click on "New User / Register".

Step 2: Enter your valid email ID and mobile number to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) for verification.

Step 3: Use the system-generated User ID and password sent to your email to log in.

Step 4: Complete the application form by entering your personal, contact, and educational details exactly as they appear in your 10th/Matriculation certificate.

Step 5: Upload scanned copies of required documents in the specified sizes (typically 10KB–50KB):

Step 6: Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹550 + GST via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Step 7:  Review all entered information, submit the form, and download/print the final confirmation page for future use in Phase II.

What After Selection In Agniveervayu?

Selected candidates will serve as Agniveervayu in the Indian Air Force for a four-year term, receiving a starting monthly salary of Rs 30,000 that increases annually. Upon completion, they will receive a approx Rs10.04 lakh "Seva Nidhi" package (comprising their 30 Per cent contribution and matching government funds). Up to 25 per cent of personnel may be retained in the regular cadre.
