IGNOU December TEE 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has decided to extend the deadline for submitting assignments for the December Term-End Examination (TEE) 2024 for online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs to October 31. Pupils must submit a handwritten assignment for each credit course. Previously, the deadline for IGNOU assignment submission was October 3.
“With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for Term End Examinations, December 2024 for both ODL and online programmes, GOAL, and EVBB has been further extended up to 31st October, 2024,” said IGNOU in a post on X.

How to submit the IGNOU assignment?
Students can follow the guidelines indicated below to submit assignments:
- Applicants can submit assignments to their study centre or regional centre following the directions provided by the regional centre. They must provide their contact information (programme code, course code, enrollment number, email, phone) on assignments.
- If the regional centre specifies that only hard copies will be accepted, send handwritten, signed assignments to the address specified. Soft copies that are accepted must be signed and scanned. If you have chosen SOGDS as your RC, send your assignments to sogds@ignou.ac.in.
- Assignments must be delivered as a separate document for each course. Do not submit separate pages, and do not combine tasks from two classes in one document.
Additionally, the Open University has also extended the deadline for fresh admission to the July 2024 academic year. Students planning to apply for the July 2024 session of online distance learning (ODL) and online programmes will now have extra week to register. The current deadline is October 15. Previously, the registration deadline for the ODL and online courses was September 30.
