International Collegiate Programming Contest 2026:The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is celebrating a massive milestone as its exceptional coding squad, named "Weak Testcase", has officially locked in a spot for the upcoming ICPC World Finals 2026.

The institution formally shared the breakthrough via its official account on X, extending congratulations to the young engineers for scaling one of the largest competitive programming peaks on the global stage. This success marks the fourth time in the history of the institute that a team from IIIT-Delhi will represent the campus at the ultimate collegiate programming showdown.


The high-achieving lineup comprises three brilliant B.Tech computer science students hailing from the academic batch of 2027. The qualification roster includes Abhishek from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, alongside Jatin Aggarwal and Piyush Keshan, both specializing in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CSAI).

Moving forward, the distinct three-member team will enter specialised, high-intensity training phases to sharpen their problem-solving speeds as they prepare to fly the flag for both IIIT-Delhi and India at the premier grand finale in Dubai.

The Trio Representing IIIT-Delhi

The qualifying team consists of three dedicated undergraduate students from the 2027 batch who have demonstrated exceptional technical expertise. The members are Abhishek (B.Tech CSE), Jatin Aggarwal (B.Tech CSAI), and Piyush Keshan (B.Tech CSAI). Their collective synergy and deep understanding of computational algorithms allowed them to outshine thousands of other university competitors during the regional rounds to book their tickets to Dubai.
