JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 Answer Key Today Live Updates: NTA Releases Response Sheet, Provisional Key At jeemain.nta.nic.in

Candidates can raise objections against the JEE Main provisional answer key for Session 1 from February 4 to 5, 2026. They need to log in to the official portal, select the question ID, and attach supporting documents to submit their objections. A non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question has to be paid using the online payment modes. 

To raise objections against the JEE Main provisional answer key, candidates can follow the given steps:

Step 1: Go to the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Enter your application number and password to log in to the candidate portal. 

Step 3: On the login screen, select “Challenge Answer Key” or “Challenge Recorded Response”. 

Step 4: For the Recorded Response, select Question Number, Recorded Answer, and Claimed Answer. Add them to theclaims list.

Step 5: For the Answer Key, select the question ID/Answer ID, then add it to the claims list. 

Step 6: Pay the objection fee through online payment modes such as Debit, Credit, or Net banking. 

Candidates can estimate their raw scores using the JEE Main Session 1 provisional answer key. First, note down the correct and incorrect answers as per the NTA answer key and response sheet. Give +4 marks to each correct response, and deduct 1 mark for each incorrect answer. Calculate the sum using the following formula:

Total Sum = (Correct Response x 4) - (Incorrect Response x 1)

The total sum obtained will be the candidates’ raw scores in the JEE Main Session 1 exam 2026. 

NTA has released the provisional answer key for the JEE Main session 1 exam 2026. Candidates can download the answer key PDF along with the response sheet from the link provided below. Once you download it, cross-check your responses and estimate your raw scores.

NTA will announce the JEE Mains result for session 1 by February 12 on the official website. Candidates can download the scorecard PDF using their application number and password from jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

The result PDF will have details like the percentile score in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, total marks, and other information. Along with the results, the list of JEE Main toppers will also be announced. 

Along with the provisional answer key, NTA will also release the JEE Mains response sheet on the official website. Follow the given steps to download it from the official portal: 

Step 1: Go to the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

Step 2: Click on the “JEE Main Candidate Response Sheet 2026 Session 1” link. 

Step 3: Enter your JEE Main application number and password. Fill in the captcha as shown on the screen. 

Step 4: The response sheet will open on the screen.

Step 5: Click on the print option to download the JEE Main candidate response sheet PDF.
