Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2026: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has officially released the rank list for the 69,170 students who have selected Karnataka in their NTA application form. KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, IAS, issued the official announcement. The rank list is arranged in descending order of candidates’ performance and will be used further for the upcoming state NEET counselling process for 85% state quota seats.

This year, around 14,094 MBBS seats are available across the state. Candidates scoring higher NEET marks have the possibility to get admission in government medical colleges in the state. However, applicants with lower marks can apply for private colleges having widespread medical courses.

How To Check Rank List Online?

To access the score list, candidates have to log in to the KEA official portal at  cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Under the UGNEET 2026 section, select the active link for the merit list. A PDF will open on the screen. Download it and use Ctrl+F to search your credentials. Selected candidates are eligible for the state counselling rounds.

A total of 14,094 MBBS seats are available across government and medical colleges in Karnataka. Based on their rank, seat availability, and other factors, the final seat allotment will be done.

KEA NEET Counselling 2026 Merit List: Next Steps

Following the release of the UG NEET merit list, KEA will announce the complete counseling schedule soon. The admission process includes the following stages:

1. Online Registration

2. Document Verification

3. Choice filling and option entry

4. Mock seat allotment

5. Round 1 seat allotment result

6. Physical reporting to allotted college 

KEA has further issued a notice for the candidates ahead of the counselling process. It stated that candidates must link their NEET UG roll number with the KEA application form by August 2. The linking process must be completed through the official portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Failing to do so may disqualify candidates from participating in the state counselling process.
