KCET Result 2026 Date: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is expected to release KCET results 2026 in the first week of June 2026. The scorecard link will become active at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, kea.kar.nic.in, and karresults.nic.in. Candidates who have appeared for the exam from April 22 to April 24, 2026, can check their subject-wise marks and ranks online once released, using their application details. Following the release of the scorecards, KEA will also begin the document verification process for the counselling process.
KCET Result 2026: Steps To Check Results Online
Once the official link becomes active, candidates can follow these steps to download their scorecard from the official portal.
Step 1: Go to the KEA official portal at kea.kar.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “KCET Result 2026” link.
Step 3: Enter your Application Number and the first four characters of your name.
Step 4: Your KCET rank card will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download and check your subject-wise marks.
How Are KCET Ranks Assigned?
KCET ranks are allotted based on the 50:50 weightage of the KCET entrance exam scores and 2nd PUC board marks. 2nd PUC (Class 12) board exam marks have 50% weightage in KCET 2026, while core subjects scores, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, have the remaining 50% weightage.
KCET Counselling 2026
After the results are officially declared, KEA will start the counselling process, probably in the first week of June 2026. Candidates who have cleared the exam will be invited for the counselling process, which includes document verification, choice filling, mock allotment, and final seat confirmation. Based on merit, candidates will be allotted seats in UG courses such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and other professional programmes offered by colleges across Karnataka.
