MH CET 2026 Registration: On February 12, 2026, the MH CET cell, Maharashtra, issued a notice regarding the CET registrations 2026. To help out candidates who are facing issues with the Aadhaar authentication, the authorities have asked them to register for the process of authentication. This came as a major relief for candidates, as the registration window was supposed to close on Feb 12.
From February 13, 2026, onwards, candidates who are unable to complete their Aadhaar and APAAR authentication can fill and submit their MHT CET 2026 application form without the authentication.

MH CET 2026 Registration: What Was The Issue?
Due to technical glitches and other genuine issues, candidates were not able to complete their Aadhar authentication necessary for registration. They have raised their concerns with the authorities, and to their surprise, the registration deadline got extended.
Now candidates can complete their application process, pay the application fee, and upload documents till February 20, 2026, on the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
CET Cell Maharashtra has further said that candidates who have already completed their Aadhar authentication and APAAR authentication must follow the existing registration process. For CET 2026 registration, the preferred mode of verification is Aadhaar authentication. Candidates must complete their application process before the deadline to be eligible to appear for the exam, starting from April 11, 2026.
