Here’s how you can edit the application details on the NEET UG application form 2026 through the official portal.

Step 1: Go to the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Enter your application number and password to log in.

Step 3: Select the correction option and edit eligible fields.

Step 4: Make changes wherever necessary. 

Step 5: Cross-check the submitted details carefully and submit the form.

NEET UG 2026 Application Correction Window: Editable Fields

Candidates must note that only specific fields can be edited within this correction window. Here are the details.

  • Category

  • Exam city 

  • Language of the question paper

  • Academic details

The authorities have also notified that candidates can only change either the father’s details or the mother’s details, including name, qualification, and occupation. However, candidates can edit only one of these two sets of information.

NEET UG 2026 exam will be held on May 3, 2026, in offline mode. According to the schedule, the test will be held in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM at examination centres across the country.
