NEET UG 2026 Objection Window: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has uploaded the provisional answer key for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 on May 6, 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the medical entrance exam on May 3, can download the provisional answer key from neet.nta.nic.in and assess their performance. In the official notice, NTA has mentioned that it will open the objection window shortly after uploading the scanned copies of candidates’ OMR sheets.

During this time frame, candidates are allowed to challenge and submit their objections against the answers or questions if they find them incorrect. After resolving all the objections, NTA will release the NEET UG final answer key 2026. Based on it, final results will be published.

NEET UG 2026 Objection Window: How To Submit Challenges?

Candidates can follow the given steps to challenge the provisional answer key through the NEET portal.

Step 1: Go to the official portal at neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the “Challenge Answer Key” option.

Step 3: Enter your NEET application number and password in the login window.

Step 4: Select the  answer you want to challenge.

Step 5: Upload all supporting documents. 

Step 6: Check all the questions and option numbers which you have challenged.

Step 7: Pay the objection fee and submit. 

NEET UG 2026 Objection Fee

The objection fee is Rs 200 per question challenged. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid via online payment modes through the official NTA NEET portal. Submit your objections along with supporting documents within the objection window. Once the window closes, no more requests will be entertained. 

How To Download NEET UG Provisional Answer Key 2026?

The provisional answer key is available for download on the NEET official portal. Candidates need to visit the website and select the link saying, “NEET provisional answer key 2026”. The answer key will open in PDF format without requiring any login credentials. Download the PDF and calculate your probable scores using the official NEET marking scheme.
