Parents and guardians who are seeking admissions for their wards into Class 6 and Class 9 across 33 Sainik Schools and newly approved Sainik Schools for the academic year 2027-28 can now register online.

The application forms are available on the official NTA exam portal at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society. The national entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 31, 2027, across designated test centres in India.

AISSEE 2027 Registration: Steps To Apply

Given below are the simple steps that the candidates can use to apply online for the AISSEE 2027 admissions for classes 6 and 9:

Step 1: Go to the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society.

Step 2: Click on the link titled AISSEE 2027 registration or application form.

Step 3: Register using an active email ID and mobile number to generate an application number and password.

Step 4: Log in and complete the form by entering student details, category, schooling records, school preferences, and preferred exam cities, up to four choices.

Step 5: Upload scanned documents like the candidate's signature, photograph, left thumb impression, birth Certificate, Domicile certificate, and category and defence certificates.

Step 6: Pay the application fee and download and print the confirmation page for records.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to AISSEE 2027

Before you start the process of getting admission into AISSEE 2027 for class 6th and 9th, you need to check your eligibility first. Here are the eligibility criteria prescribed by NTA:

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Class 6th: you need to be between the ages of 10 and 12 years old on March 31, 2027. Both boys and girls are eligible to apply. It is necessary to have studied at least in Class 5th or passed Class 5th from a recognized board.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Class 9th: You must be between the ages of 13 and 15 years old as of March 31, 2027. Both girls and boys can apply, but girls can apply only in the Sainik schools where there are vacancies for female candidates. Applicants need to have passed Class 8th from a recognized board.
