CAT 2026 Registration Last Date: IIM Indore Warns No Further Extension, Check Steps To Apply And Fee Details Here

CAT 2026 Registration:  The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore will close the registration portal for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 today, September 22, 2026, at 5 PM. Candidates who have not yet submitted their application form must do so via the official portal at iimcat.ac.in before the deadline. Earlier, the CAT 2026 registration deadline was September 15, 2026. Furthermore, IIM Indore has stated that September 22 is the final deadline and no further extension will be provided. To avoid last-minute technical issues, applicants seeking admission to MBA and other postgraduate courses must submit the CAT application form and pay the fee by 5 PM today.

CAT 2026 Registration Dates

IIM Indore started the CAT registration process on August 3, 2026. The institute is expected to open a brief window for candidates to edit their submitted application details. Administered by IIM Indore, CAT 2026 will be held on November 29, across three sessions. 

How To Register For CAT 2026?

Here’s how candidates can complete their CAT 2026 registration process online.

Step 1: Visit the official portal at iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, select the registration link. Enter basic details to create your User ID and password. 

Step 3: Using the above login details, complete your CAT application form with mandatory details.

Step 4: Upload documents and pay the registration fee online. 

Step 5: Verify all details carefully and submit the application form.

CAT 2026 Application Fee 

Candidates must pay the application fee during CAT registration. The fee is non-refundable and should be paid using online payment modes, including UPI/Credit/Debit/Net Banking, etc. The deadline to complete the payment process is today by 5 PM. 

CAT 2026 Exam Date

As per the official schedule, the CAT 2026 exam will be held on November 29 in CBT mode at 170 cities across the country. The admit cards will be available for download from November 4, 2026. The test will have three sections with a specific time limit to solve the questions. 

• Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension - 40 minutes

• Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning - 40 minutes

• Section III: Quantitative Ability - 40 minutes

• Total: Three sections - 120 minutes

Each section will be allotted 40 minutes. The test duration is 120 minutes. Candidates must note that they won’t be allowed to switch from one section to another. They have to complete each section in the specified time period and then move on to the next section.
