IBPS SO Result 2026 Out:  The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the Specialist Officer Preliminary Result 2026 for the CRP SPL-XVI recruitment cycle. The prelims exam was held on August 29 at designated exam centres. Candidates who took the exam can download their scorecard from the official link, ibps.in, using their registration details. The scorecard download link will be active only until October 22, 2026. 

The CRP SPL-XVI recruitment cycle aims to fill 1,043 Specialist Officer vacancies across six streams: IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Law Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer.

How To Download IBPS SO Prelims Result 2026?

Follow the given steps to download your IBPS SO scorecard from the official portal. 

Step 1: Go to the official website at ibps.in.

Step 2: Open the homepage, select the relevant Common Recruitment Process (CRP) section.

Step 3: Click on the CRP SPL-XVI Specialist Officers Preliminary Examination Result 2026 link.

Step 4: The login tab will open. Enter your registration number and password.

Step 5: Fill in the captcha and submit all details. 

Step 6: Your scorecard will open on the screen. 

Step 7: Download it and check your qualifying marks.

What After SO Preliminary Result Declaration?

The preliminary examination is only a screening test to shortlist candidates for the subsequent selection process. Those who have qualified the SO prelims will proceed to the Mains Examination, scheduled for November 1, 2026. 

After that, the interview rounds will be conducted for applicants who clear the SO Mains Examination 2026 with qualifying marks. The final merit list will then be prepared based on the cumulative scores of SO Mains and Interview Rounds.
