RIMC Registration Deadline 2026: The National Testing Agency will close the online application process for the Rashtriya Indian Military College Entrance Examination (RIMC) on September 30, 2026. Students seeking admission to Class 8 at Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, for the 2027 academic year starting in July must complete their online registrations via the official portal at rimc.edu.in within the prescribed deadline. Those who miss the deadline can apply between October 1 and 7 till 5 PM along with late fees. The entrance test will be held on December 6, 2026 (Sunday) in pen-and-paper mode at 39 cities across India.
The test will include descriptive questions in Mathematics and English, along with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in General Knowledge (GK).

RIMC Application Fee 2026
The examination fee is Rs 1,000 for candidates belonging to the General, Wards of Defence Personnel and Ex-servicemen, and OBC-NCL categories. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories such as SC and ST must pay Rs 750.
RIMC Eligibility Criteria 2026
For admission to Class 8 at RIMC, Dehradun, candidates must be more than 12 years and six months of age and not more than 14 years old as calculated on July 1, 2027. Moreover, they must fulfill the educational requirements mentioned in the information bulletin to be eligible for the entrance exam.
