When Will JEE Main Session 1 Registration Start?
Analysing previous years’ exam trends, the JEE Main Session 1 registration process may start in October 2026 via the official portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The official notification may be released in the last week of September, comprising key details such as the exam schedule, registration dates, eligibility requirements, deadlines, admit card dates, result, and post-selection activities. Who Can Apply For JEE Main Session 1 Exam 2027?
Before applying for the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 entrance examination, candidates must read the eligibility criteria thoroughly.
1. Candidates who have passed Class 12th in the 2025 and 2026 academic years with relevant subjects from a recognized board.
2. Those studying in Class 12th this year and who will be giving the final board examination in 2027 are also eligible.
3. There is no age limit for JEE Main Session 1 registration.
Candidates must note that they do not require any minimum percentage of marks to register for the JEE Main Session 1 Exam 2027. However, for admission to specific NITs, IITs, etc., applicants might need 75% aggregate marks. Reserved categories will get relaxation as per government rules.
JEE Main Session 1 Exam Date 2027
As per the tentative schedule announced by NTA, the JEE Main Session 1 exam 2027 will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30, 2027. The agency has kept January 31 as a spare day for any kind of unforeseen circumstances. The dates are, however, tentative and will be confirmed after the notification is released.
