MP Schools Zero Dropout: The Madhya Pradesh government has declared that its education department has met the target of a zero percent dropout rate in primary education. The Madhya Pradesh minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Chetanya Kasyap, announced that this year, zero percent of students have dropped out of primary education in the state.

On social media platform X, the state education department shared the news. Minister Chetanya Kasyap announced, "In 2002-03, the dropout rate at the primary level was as high as 15 percent; today, under the able leadership of our Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Ji, Madhya Pradesh has achieved the target of zero percent dropout in primary education."

Earlier, on June 18, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated, during a visit to the Government Sharda Girls' Higher Secondary School in Indore as part of the "School Chalein Hum Abhiyan" (Let's Go to School Campaign), that the dropout rate in the state's primary schools has dropped to zero over the last three years.

During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with students and distributed sweets. According to a Press Trust of India (PTI) report, Yadav also noted that Madhya Pradesh has been among the leading states in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) across both school and higher education sectors.
