NEET UG 2026: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the results for the NEET Stray Round 2026 on Monday, October 19, 2026. Those allotted seats must report to their institutes between October 19 and 26, 2026, for document verification and final admission. 

The NEET stray round is the final phase of the counselling process aimed at filling the vacant seats. Candidates who missed out on the previous NEET counselling rounds or want to explore college options are eligible for the NEET Stray Round 2026.  

Earlier, the registration for the stray round closed on October 16. The deadline to complete the choice-filling and locking process was October 17, 2026, as per the MCC schedule.

College Reporting From October 19

Following the announcement of the NEET Stray Round Result 2026, candidates must report to their allotted college between October 19 to 26, 2026. For document verification, candidates need to carry their original documents and photocopies of all relevant certificates for verification. Further, to confirm their seats, applicants need to pay the required admission fee within the deadline. The fee varies according to college and course and is non-refundable. However, if candidates fail to report to the assigned college, their candidature will be cancelled. 

Document Checklist For Admission

Here’s the list of documents that candidates must carry during college reporting:

  • NEET UG 2026 scorecard and admit card

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • Income certificate (if applicable)

  • Domicile certificate (if required)

  • Medical fitness certificate

  • Character certificate from school or college

  • Passport-size photographs (as per college requirement)

  • Any other documents specified by the college
