The Railway Recruitment Board has released the RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Date 2026 notice on 21st September 2026 on the official website. The CEN 01/2026 examination for Assistant Loco Pilot is set for 3rd, 4th and 5th November 2026.
A total of 8,40,944 candidates will appear in three shifts for 11,127 vacancies. The city intimation slip and admit card will follow soon, so aspirants should keep checking their respective regional RRB websites for the latest updates and important instructions.

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Schedule 2026
The CBT 1 exam will run from 3rd to 5th November 2026 in three shifts. The recruitment is currently at its first stage, CBT 1.

RRB ALP CBT 1 City Intimation Slip 2026
The city intimation slip tells candidates their allotted exam city, date and shift in advance. It is expected about 9–10 days before the exam and can be downloaded from the regional RRB website using login credentials. It is for advance information only and should not be treated as the admit card.
RRB ALP CBT 1 Admit Card 2026
The admit card (e-Call Letter) will be released on regional RRB websites about 3–4 days before the exam. Candidates can download it with their Registration Number and Date of Birth/Password. It will show the exam centre, reporting time, shift and important examination-day instructions.

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2026
CBT 1 has 75 objective-type questions carrying 75 marks, to be solved in 60 minutes. One-third of a mark is deducted for each wrong answer. General Awareness/Current Affairs is not included.
