UCO Bank has distributed the 530 apprentice vacancies across five categories in accordance with reservation rules. The recruitment includes 205 unreserved seats, while OBC-NCL candidates have 147 vacancies. SC candidates have 106 seats, followed by 49 for ST and 23 for EWS candidates.

West Bengal has the highest number of apprentice vacancies, with 86 seats. Uttar Pradesh follows with 45 vacancies, while Odisha has 41 and Rajasthan has 37. Bihar has 34 seats, and Maharashtra has 32 vacancies.
Madhya Pradesh has 27 vacancies, Himachal Pradesh has 25 seats, and both Assam and Punjab have 24 each. As for Tamil Nadu, it has 21 vacancies to choose from. Before opting for the desired state, aspirants must check the official notification regarding vacancies in different states throughout the country.
UCO Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Conditions and Important Guidelines
Before applying, aspirants must fulfill all the eligibility criteria and conditions mentioned in the official notification. An applicant can apply only for one state or UT; if an applicant applies for more than one location, his application will be rejected. In addition, aspirants must also have proficiency in the language spoken in their selected state.
NATS registration is mandatory for applicants. Candidates must register through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme portal at nats.education.gov.in before proceeding with the application process, as instructed in the recruitment notification.
