NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026: Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a Government of India enterprise, has announced recruitment for the post of Executive Trainee. The recruitment drive aims to fill more than 300 vacancies across multiple engineering disciplines through GATE scores.
The online registration process started on April 10, 2026, and interested candidates can submit their applications until April 30, 2026. Applicants will be shortlisted for interviews based on their GATE performance, and final selection will be made through the interview process.

Out of the total 330 vacancies, 16 posts are backlog vacancies. Among these, 12 posts are reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and four posts are reserved for SC candidates.
NPCIL ET Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process:
-Candidates must possess a B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc. Engineering degree or a five-year integrated M.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60 percent marks from an AICTE or UGC recognized institution. Applicants must also have a valid GATE 2024, GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 score in the same engineering discipline.
-The maximum age limit as of April 30, 2026, is 26 years for General and EWS candidates, 29 years for OBC candidates and 31 years for SC and ST candidates. PwBD candidates will receive age relaxation of up to 10 years.
-For selection, candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:12 based on their GATE scores. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited for a personal interview, and final selection will be based on interview performance.

NPCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026: Salary and Application Process:
-Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 74,000 during the training period along with a one-time book allowance of Rs 30,000. NPCIL will also provide accommodation and meal facilities during training.
-After successful completion of the training period, candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C with a starting salary of Rs 56,100 under Level-10 of the pay matrix, along with Dearness Allowance and other government benefits.
